Archit Gupta is the co-founder and CEO at Clear. He did computer engineering from IIT – Guwahati, went to US for masters. Later, he worked in Silicon Valley at a startup. In 2010, he came back to India and felt like simplifying finances for Indian businesses and individuals. He built the first version of Cleartax all by himself and today Cleartax processes a total of 25% of the tax filing in the country.
This is an honest conversation with Archit about the journey of building Cleartax. He has shared his struggles of scaling the tech team in Delhi, early days of building and how he himself learned everything about finance. Enjoy!
