In short

Native virtual machine manager for Apple Silicon Macs. Run Windows 11 on ARM, macOS ARM and Linux ARM VMs, with a built-in MCP server for AI agents. $49 one-time, 7-day free trial.

About Kyvenza

Kyvenza is a native virtual machine manager for Apple Silicon Macs. It lets you create, configure, snapshot, clone and run Windows 11 on ARM, macOS ARM and Linux ARM virtual machines from one graphical workspace, with no command line required. It runs on M1, M2, M3, M4 and M5 Macs.

macOS and Linux guests run on Apple’s own Virtualization.framework rather than through emulation, so host and guest share the same ARM architecture and overhead stays low. Windows 11 on ARM runs on a second engine built on Apple’s Hypervisor framework, with TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot on by default. Verified installers are included for Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora and Alpine, and networking can be shared (NAT), bridged or isolated.

Kyvenza also has a built-in MCP server. Point Claude Code or any MCP client at it and an AI agent can start a VM, snapshot it before touching anything, run commands inside the guest and take screenshots. The server binds only to 127.0.0.1 and needs a per-Mac token, and destructive tools stay hidden until you enable them.

Kyvenza Pro is a one-time $49 purchase that includes 12 months of updates; renewing for another year of updates costs $19 and is optional. Every download starts with a 7-day free trial of the full app, with no account and no card required.

What problem does it solve?

Running Windows 11 on ARM, macOS and Linux on an Apple Silicon Mac normally means command-line tools or emulation. Kyvenza gives Mac users a native graphical VM manager, and gives AI coding agents a sandboxed machine of their own through a built-in MCP server.

What you can do with it

Create, configure, snapshot, clone, start, stop, restart and pause virtual machines; install Windows 11 on ARM, Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, Alpine or any ARM64 ISO; set shared, bridged or isolated networking; export diagnostics; let an MCP client such as Claude Code start a VM, take a snapshot, run commands in the guest and capture screenshots.

Key features

  • Windows 11 on ARM guests with TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot on by default
  • MacOS ARM and Linux ARM VMs on Apple Virtualization.framework
  • Snapshots and cloning
  • Shared, bridged and isolated networking
  • Verified Linux installers
  • Built-in MCP server with 15 tools
  • Diagnostics bundle
  • Signed and notarized builds

Who it’s for

Developers, QA and compatibility testers, security researchers and Mac users who need isolated Windows, macOS or Linux environments on Apple Silicon, and people who run AI coding agents that need a sandboxed machine.

Recommended for: Developers, QA testers, security researchers, AI agent users

Developer

Not designed for

It is not for Intel Macs (Apple Silicon only) and does not emulate x86 guests (ARM guests only). It has no in-app chat box or bundled AI model, and it cannot install an OS through MCP (create_vm only makes an empty machine).
